Route Description: Following the boundary of the medieval Irish Pale. Visiting the fortifications of Dalkey Castle, the remains of the Pale ditch in Sandyford, St. Maelruain’s Tallaght (the Bell tower is part of the old castle), Ballymore Eustace, Harristown, Naas, Clane, Kilcock, Trim, Athboy, Kells, Syddan, Ardee, Castle Roche (the Northernmost fortification), Dundalk, Drogheda, Dublin and back to Dalkey along the coast.
